Policies & Procedures:

All of our adoption animals are posted on our website.  Any information we may have pertaining to each animal, as well as adoption location, is written into their biography.

Animals available at satellite adoption locations can be visited during that location's business hours.

Viewing of the animals available for adoption at the shelter is by appointment only to reduce stress in our fur-kids.
A scheduled appointment allows our Adoptions Counselor and the potential pet parents to spend time together, answer any questions regarding the adoption process, discuss the animal’s behaviours as exhibited in the shelter and offer a more “one-on-one” experience; we want the best for our animals.
Find your new family member today by contacting Amber at 519-623-7722 x230 or by email at adoptions@cambridgehumanesociety.org

There will be a minimum 48 hour waiting period to review applications.  Applications are not on a first come, first serve basis as we are looking for the most suitable home for each animal.

We are unable to hold pets via phone requests or faxed/emailed applications.
