I’m Gizmo.
I was surrendered to the Shelter due to no fault of my own. I had a hard time adjusting to the noises around here and would spend most of my time hiding under my bed peeking out at everyone that passes by. I was on high alert for potential danger. You never know what might happen *shifts eyes*
The staff here have been really great at stopping by for some love and chin scratches, and I’ll thank them with my loud purrs of appreciation. They really help me let my guard down while they’re with me. They’ve gained my trust and I now don’t spend my time hiding. I’m a quiet boy still, and would rather spend my time watching the chaos, rather than join in on it.
I get along well with other cats, and lived in a home with children. I love belly rubs, and sitting by open windows feeling the breeze in my whiskers. I’m not the biggest fan of being picked up, so if we can work around that, I think we’ll be happy together.
I’m more of the strong, silent type if you ask me. A man of little words, but a lot of love.
