Our Response to COVID-19 Concerns

Due to Covid-19 concerns and to support the Government and Public Health protocol for social distancing we have restricted our public access to APPOINTMENT ONLY!

Our focus during this time is keeping our team of staff healthy, to ensure we can continue to care for the community’s animals. It is imperative that we do not get sick and have therefore implemented the following changes to our services.

Animal Services

Please call 519-623-6323 for animal services.
Animal Services is responding to calls regarding sick and injured wildlife, dog bites, dangerous dogs and stray animals.

Dog Licensing

Lost Animals

If you have lost your animal or need to claim your animal from the City Pound, please call the Lost Pet Line at 519-623-7722 and dial extension 223.Please leave a message. Your call will be returned within 24 hours.

Donations

We thank you in advance for thinking of our animals during this time of uncertainty. Donations of supplies can be placed in the donation bin at the front of the building. Please drop off only donations that will help our animals. We have staff on rotating shifts and we check for donations throughout the day and night.
